Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament
Win great prizes at the first UAS Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament on Wednesday, May 29th at 7:30PM in the Red Shoe Room at Price Center's Sungod Lounge. The buy-in will be $5 for UAS paid members and $10 for non-paid UAS members, which you can pay for at GBM 4 this Wednesday or on the PayPal link on uas.ucsd.edu very soon! Payments can be made with cash or credit/ debit card. We will be having a re-buy option for the first 3 rounds of play that will be $10 regardless of being a paid member or non-member. Refreshments and snacks will provided at the event.

GBM 4 with Deloitte
Join us this upcoming Wednesday, May 22nd, at 8pm in Rady1S114 for our last GBM of the quarter with Deloitte! This is a great networking opportunity to learn and connect with a Big Four accounting firm before Fall recruitment begins. Various professionals from Deloitte, including some UCSD alumni and a campus recruiter, will be speaking about their experience at the firm, leadership, and internship programs, as well as go over their recruiting timeline.
If you are still not a paid member, pay your $10 dues online at uas.ucsd.edu under the membership tab before Wednesday, May 22nd in order to receive these awesome benefits:

GBM 3 with TGG CEO - Matt Garrett
TGG Accounting President/ CEO, Matt Garrett will be joining the Undergraduate Accounting Society this Wednesday, May 8th at 7:30 pm in the Earl Warren Room in Price Center for our 3rd GBM! Free dinner will also be provided.
Matt Garrett founded TGG Accounting in January 2006 and will speak about the importance of accounting in business. TGG Accounting is a managerial accounting firm in San Diego that provides a complete, integrated trusted advisor for small and mid-sized businesses and recognizes the value in having good financial numbers to operate now and in the long term.

Welcome Back UAS!
Hope everyone had a great and relaxing Spring Break!
Come to our first GBM of the quarter this Wednesday, April 10th at 7:30pm in Rady 2S118 and learn more about the field of Forensic Accounting and how to break into this profession.
This week we have two Managing Financial Analysts, who will talk about their experience at Brining & Company, a local highly specialized financial consulting firm that not only focuses on forensic accounting, but also litigation consulting and business valuation services. This will serve as a great opportunity to expand your knowledge about another accounting field!!
Also, new members are always welcome to any of our GBMs. To be considered an active member and receive membership benefits* you must:
- Attend at least 2 General Body Meetings
- Participate in at least 1 Volunteer, Social, or Fundraising event.
- Pay Dues $10
